Further solar park in Ghana receives preliminary operation license

As already communicated previously, we are in the process of planning the 225 MW Wind Farm Ayitepa on behalf of Mainstream Renewable Power Ltd. The wind farm will be complemented with two solar projects in the direct neighbourhood with 20 MW each and therefore will be the first hybrid project Africas with renewables energies.

After having received the preliminary operation license for the first solar park from the Energy Commission at the end of July 2015, we have now also been granted the Provisional Generation and Wholesale Supply License for the second solar project at the end of October, 2015.

This allows us now to continue the development of both solar parks professionally and at such a pace that they will be completely permitted by the second half of 2016.

We will regularly provide information on the next project steps here.
