The Phase 1 of the Land and Asset Survey on the Saunya Clan Land started on the 9th of July 2018 and was successfully completed on 25th July 2018.

Ghana: Wind Energy Project Amlakpo receives renewed EPA-Environmental Permit
After the Ghanaian Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) having issued an Environmental Permit for our Wind Energy Project Amlakpo some time ago, this now needed to be renewed because of the time that has already passed since then.
Ghana: Siting Permit Application for Wind Park Konikablo
While our 225 MW wind farm Ayitepa in Ghana is fully permitted in the meanwhile (www.upwindayitepa.com), the project at Konikablo is also making substantial development progress. As a next step, we have handed-in to the Energy Commission by mid of January 2018 the application for the so-called Siting Permit.
A delegation of engineers and managers of the Ghanaian Grid Operator GRIDCo and the Electricity Company of Ghana visited Lekela’s wind farms in South Africa. The one-week event took place in the second half of October 2017 and was attended by 15 people from ECG and GRIDCo.
