After having received the provisional wholesale electricity supply license from the Energy Commission as well as the definite environmental permit for our wind energy project Konikablo, we have handed in the application for the construction permit to the local authorities (Ningo-Prampram District Assembly) in November, 2015. We reckon that this permit will be issued within the next couple of weeks.

This project is located directly next to the Wind Farm Ayitepa approximately 70 km east of Accra in Ghana (visit also www.upwindayitepa.com) and may have a maximum installed capacity of 200 MW. We have been developing this wind farm for a long time now and its one of our most advanced projects in West Africa.
