Wind park project Zatric in Kosovo receives preliminary operation license

The wind energy project Zatric in the municipality of Rahovec in Kosovo, which is being developed by us on behalf of the Swiss company Upwind International I GmbH, has received from ERO (Energy Regulatory Office) the preliminary construction and operation license on March 1st, 2013.

This very important step for our project development was concluded by the authorities of Kosovo only just 4 months after we submitted the corresponding application. Next to this preliminary construction and operation license the wind park Zatric has already received the definite environmental permit at an earlier stage and therefore is now in possession of the two most important permits for its realisation.

While the environmental permit is valid for an installed electrical capacity of up to 45 MW, the preliminary license was issued by ERO in accordance with our application for a capacity of 30 MW. In the course of the detailed planning of the wind park it will now become evident, which turbines will be employed and what the hub height will be. In any case a definite construction and operation license for a capacity of 30 to 45 MW will be issued.
