Comprehensive wind measurements for wind park Budakova, Kosovo, taken up

At the beginning of July 2013, our specialists have installed two 60 m high NRG met masts on the mountain ridge near Budakova, which reaches heights of over 1,600 m.s.l. In addition to the measurements, which our company has been conducting there for some years now, the wind conditions will now be measured at the new met mast locations on approximately 30, 45 and 60 m above ground.

These measurements will be running for at least the next 12 months and will be analysed continuously.

At this site we have designated and planned 16 locations for the erection of 3.0-MW-turbines, while the preliminary construction and operation permit has already been granted.
